The Chevrolet Camaro has always set a standard for ‘American Muscle Cars’. Introduced in 1966 to compete with the Ford Mustang, it forced the “Big Three” to raise the bar year after year. In 2002 when sales reached an all time low, General Motors announced that they would discontinue this ICON and vowed it would never build the Camaro again.

Fast Forward 7 years:

-Ford Motor Company re-designs the Mustang with the ‘Old School’ look
-Dodge re-launches the Challenger with the ‘Old School’ look.

What choice does Chevrolet have? Re-introduce the Camaro with the ‘Old School’ look. And a FINE job they did! With 35 years of heritage behind the model (and enthusiast’s screaming, what choice did they have?). The base version comes with a V-6 that is more potent than any previous 8 cylinder version previously built (304 H.P.) The 8 cylinder is WICKED!
